iC-Málaga thanks to the german company iC-Haus offers test services for MST and MEMs sensors. Microsystems as chip-on-board with sensors units (i.e. optical and magnetic) can be tested using special automatic equipment.


The strong growth of microsystems with multiple functions and mounting forms, forces the use of innovative test techniques. A careful test requires fexibility in the automatic process in order to cover not only the electrical parameters, but also other physical characteristics.

With the utilization of the system "Leonardo" from ic-automation , iC-Haus is able to offer a flexible test for a totally automated development testing of the electrical and physical parameters of micosystems through light stimulation, magnetic fields, acceleration, pressure, temperture, etc.


The integrated circuits and microsystems with optical sensors require special packages in order to permit the light incidence. Similarly, continuous reduction of the package size requires demanding package techiniques like chip-size, multi-chip or chip-on-board (COB).


Combining the glass-on-chip technique with new available PCB technologies (HDI), iC-Haus introduced optoBGA package as a final step to the truly iC integration, together with optical sensors into the microsystem, without the need of chip-on-board.
